Introduction:
KR Mangalam Red Cross Society organized a Blood Donation Camp on 19th May 2024 at Lakhuwas Village. The camp aimed to collect blood donations from students and residents, raise awareness about the importance of blood donation, and contribute to saving lives. Objectives:
Objectives are as below:
- To collect blood donations to meet the needs of hospitals and patients.
- To raise awareness about the importance of blood donation.
- To encourage students and community members to participate in humanitarian activities.
Content:
The Blood Donation Camp at Lakhuwas Village featured a series of activities aimed at facilitating blood donation and educating the community about its significance. The camp commenced with the registration of donors and preliminary health check-ups to ensure the eligibility of participants. The blood donation process was supervised by experienced medical professionals from KR Mangalam University and affiliated hospitals, ensuring safety and efficiency. Donors were provided with refreshments post-donation to aid in their recovery. Additionally, an awareness session was conducted to highlight the critical role of regular blood donation in saving lives and its impact on society. The event saw enthusiastic participation from Both students and residents, reflecting a strong community spirit and a commitment to humanitarian causes.

Conclusion:
The Blood Donation Camp at Lakhuwas Village, organised by the KR Mangalam Red Cross Society, KR Mangalam University, was a successful event that not only collected a Significant amount of blood but also raised awareness about the critical importance of blood donation. The active participation of students and community members demonstrated a strong Commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
