Position: Robotics Expert Faculty
B.Tech (Artificial Intelligence & Robotics) Program
About the Role
We invite applications from experienced Robotics professionals and academicians with strong theoretical foundations and substantial hands-on expertise to contribute to our B.Tech (AI & Robotics) undergraduate program. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring laboratory work, and guiding student projects, with a strong emphasis on industry relevance, practical implementation, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver application-oriented lectures and laboratory sessions in core and advanced robotics subjects
- Guide students in robotics projects, simulations, and hardware–software integration
- Mentor students for projects, hackathons, internships, and innovation activities
- Design and update lab experiments, assignments, and real-world case studies aligned with industry practices
- Support ROS/ROS2-based development, simulation-driven learning, and system-level experimentation
Desired Skills & Expertise
- Strong academic and practical background in Robotics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Control Systems, or Artificial Intelligence
- Proven hands-on experience with ROS / ROS2
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for robotics applications
- Solid understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics, motion planning, control systems, and SLAM
- Experience with robotics simulation tools such as Gazebo, Webots, CoppeliaSim, or MATLAB/Simulink
- Practical exposure to real robotic systems, sensors, actuators, and mobile robots will be an added advantage
Eligibility
- PhD preferred; candidates with M.Tech / M.E and strong industry or research experience will also be considered
- Industry professionals with significant hands-on robotics experience are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in teaching, technical training, mentoring, or academic delivery is desirable
