Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Professor – Food and Beverage Services with a strong hotel industry background. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to academic excellence in the Food and Beverage Services specialization.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality
- Master’s Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality
- Specialization in Food and Beverage Services is mandatory
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in hotels (Food & Beverage Operations)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a reputed hotel management institute or university
- Must be from a hotel industry background
Age Criteria:
- Preferred age group: 27 to 29 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures and practical training in Food and Beverage Services
- Plan and develop course content, lesson plans, and assessment methods
- Conduct practical sessions, demonstrations, and industry-oriented training
- Guide and mentor students for academic and professional development
- Participate in curriculum development and academic activities
- Maintain academic records and evaluate student performance
- Support departmental activities, seminars, and workshops
- Stay updated with current industry trends and practices
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Food and Beverage operations and service standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Practical exposure to hotel F&B operations
- Student-centric teaching approach
- Ability to balance academic and industry-oriented teaching
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Candidates with hands-on hotel experience are highly preferred
- Passion for teaching and mentoring hospitality students
