Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage computer labs.
- Assist faculty and students with lab equipment and software.
- Ensure proper functioning of computers and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Install and configure software applications as required for academic purposes.
- Maintain network connectivity and address basic networking issues.
- Maintain records of lab usage, equipment inventory, and system updates.
- Ensure security and proper licensing of installed software.
Qualification:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science /IT / BCA/ MCA
- Experience with Linux/Windows system administration.
- Certifications in hardware/software troubleshooting, networking, or system administration.
- Proficiency in software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for engineering and programming tools.
Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in managing computer labs, IT support, or software installation.
Skills Required
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of electronic circuits, electronic components, testing instruments oscilloscopes etc.
- Should be well versed with MS office tools.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to assist students and document procedures.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain records and manage lab inventory efficiently.
