As a part of Activity Period Wednesday on 13th November,2019 a day dedicated to strengthening a student's skill to present him or herself in front of fellow pals eventually leading to face many people around the world.
The topic for deliberation was on “OPEN PRISON SYSTEM IN INDIA” an emerging topic in today's world took place. This educating session was organized and introduced by Dr. Sulakshana, Assistant Professor of Law, School of Legal Studies. She introduced the very concept of “Prison” and thereafter, the transformation from corporal punishments to today’s twentieth century’s reformative device “Open Prison System in India”. The next part of the session was handed over to a student, ShreeVaishnavi student of BA LL.B (H) VIIth Semester in which she covered all the remaining aspects of the topic in brief including types of crimes, system of selecting prisoners to be sent to open prison, details of prisoners livelihood in open prison and so on. It was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic session. Pratiksha, student of BA LL.B (H) Vth year concluded the session with a nice thank you speech addressing all. These types of presentations always make students thorough with their topics and an opportunity to present themselves and capable enough to compete in this competitive world.
