Fashion Tour Organized in Collaboration with FDCI

The students of School of Fashion attended ‘15th year of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour’ on 15 February 2020 at GMR Grounds, Aerocity, New Delhi. The event is one of its kinds that comes with a pathbreaking format with an exclusive collaboration with FDCI and exhibit highlighted iconic pieces by a mix of emerging and famed designers.

BPFT prime objective is to celebrate all Indian design, skills and craft. Promoting Indian designers to showcase their style and design in the most innovative ways possible. Embracing one’s individuality and celebrating achievements.

The students attended show of designer IkshitPande of Quod, winners of BPFT 2020, his collection is inspired by the myths of witches and witchcraft. Some Art works were printed, or hand embroidered/embellished with tulle and threads on cotton suiting and shirting. His collection was a contemporize of the concept to make it relevant today, by blending period femininity with modern street wear and masculine formal wear.

After the fashion show, students experienced the panel discussion on a blend of Indian ethos and global appeal made designers shift to making clothes borderless. Panel includes a group of renowned fashion designers like- Rahul Mishra, Sunil Sethi, Ruchika Sachdeva, Ashish N Soni, Kalyani Chawla and Shalini Passi.

The students were accompanied by Ms. Rasika Kaushal & Ms.Yashasvi Rajawat.
