Seminar on Channelizing Youth Power

On the occasion of National Youth Day, NSS, K.R. Mangalam University conducted a seminar on “Channelizing Youth Power for Nation Building”. The main objective to celebrate this day is to explore the pivotal role of youth in contributing to the development and progress of the nation.  

In first session, volunteers attended the live telecast of 27th National Youth Festival, which was held in Nashik, Maharashtra. The festival was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi where he emphasized the significant role of youth in the nation-building process and highlighted the crucial aspect of youth empowerment. Reflecting on the spirited atmosphere of the nation, PM Modi expressed that the current mood is youthful, stating, “Now, we do not have to overcome challenges. We have to set challenges for ourselves”. Prime Minister Modi credited India’s ascent to one of the top five global economies to the power of the youth by citing the guidance of Swami Vivekananda and Sri Aurobindo. 

In the second session, the seminar was conducted on ‘Channelizing Youth Power for Nation Building’. Dr Rajendra Kumar Yadav shared his story with NSS volunteers and emphasized the role of youth in nation building. The seminar provided a platform for meaningful discussions and exchanges of ideas.
