Dr. Chandra Mohan, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, K R Mangalam University since 2013 is a Senior Faculty with over 8 years of teaching and research experience, having expertise in Inorganic Chemistry. Prior to join this institute, he has taught many courses to Science and Engineering students at Shivaji College, HMRITM and Aryabhatta college. He has obtained Doctorate (Chemistry) in the field of Chemical Sensors from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India in 2017. He received M.Phil in Chemistry from University of Delhi in 2009 and Masters from Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer in 2007. He has completed graduation in non-medical science from SPC Govt. college, Ajmer in 2005 and school from DAV, Ajmer.
His research work focused on heterocycle based transition metal complexes for biological and sensor applications, and clay based solid acid catalysis. He has published more than 25 research papers in Peer reviewed journals indexed in WoS, Scopus, SCI; 3 book chapters and 1 patent. He has also been invited as keynote speakers in 8th Physical Chemistry conference 2021 UK, 2nd International Conference on Chemical Engineering & Catalysis in Germany 2021, 2nd International European conference in Turkey 2020, 3th World Congress on Applied Science UAE 2019.
He has also extended the privilege of being an organizing committee member in ICASE-2022, ASET-2021, NANO MALAYSIA-2019 international conferences. He serves as editorial board member of various international journals. He is also a member of various scientific societies like ACS, SACI, ECS (USA), CCS, ISCA, ICC etc. He organized International Conference (AASET-2017), organized at K. R. Mangalam University, Gurugram in 2017. He has also been involved in social welfare activities as NSS Coordinator and worked on several projects based on COVID-19 outbreak.
