I was previously associated with Prof. M. Zahid Ashraf; at the CVS lab in the Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India; as a Postdoctoral; working on novel synthesized polymers based nanoparticles for targeted miRNA delivery and exploring their intervening roles and mechanisms in hypoxia.
I have been awarded a Ph.D. in Pharmacy [2013-19] from an Institute of Eminence (IoE) and NIRF (Govt of India) accredited 1st ranked pharmacy institute- School of Pharmaceutical Education & Research at Jamia Hamdard University.  Briefly, in my Ph.D (2013-19) research; entitled “Biopharmaceutical performance of Statin and development of optimized drug delivery using QbD (Quality by Design) approach”; I developed block co-polymer (Poloxamer) stabilized novel mucoadhesive and unique cuboidal shaped bicontinuous carrier system (Limicubes) of Rosuvastatin using an Oleic acid derivative- Monoolein. These rationalized Limicubes exhibited higher ex-vivo penetration, P-gp inhibition, controlled release characteristics, preferred lymphatic absorption, reduce first-pass hepatic metabolism, improved Pharmacokinetic (oral bioavailability) performance, superior pharmacodynamic (hypolipidemic) performances as well as protection towards high cholesterol diet mediated hepato- and neuronal damages. By rationalizing these carriers, we also demonstrated approach to reduce inherent high dose mediated toxicity of loaded drug Rosuvastatin, on Kidney and muscles cells, as evident by serum creatine kinase as well as histopathological assessment.
While, I have passed my M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutics, Jamia Hamdard New Delhi. Briefly, in my M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) [2011-13] major research project, I developed DoE based optimized self-emulsifying system of poorly soluble Curcumin to enhance overall solubility as well as to estimate their radiomodulating impacts against cancer.
Additionally, I have completed PG in Statistics, Regulatory Affairs, Process Validation, and Certificate in Unani (Herbal) drugs.
I have published some good papers as a leading (corresponding author) in Seminar in Cancer Biology (Impact Factor:15.7), book chapters in reputed international publishers, and patents (Indian and PCT). I am also serving as an editorial member (guest editor) of CNS & Neurological Disorders - Drug Targets (I.F: 4.388), Current Molecular Pharmacology (I.F: 3.339), and Current drug metabolism (I.F: 3.731).
My research skills include integration of judicious and systemic approaches for AI (Artificial intelligence) coupled QbD (Quality by design) mediated synthesis of novel biopolymeric derivatives to develop optimized biomimetic nanomaterials such as Hydrogels, cubosomes, lipid nanoparticles, polymeric nanoparticles, metallic nanoparticles, and nano-hydroxyapatite for inflammatory disorders of the brain, Eyes, cardio-vascular systems, and bones. 
In my Ph.D., I integrated QbD approach to preparing optimized cubosme delivery systems of statins, using oleic acid (a key constituent of olive oil) derivative- Monoolein (lipid) which is based on the different statistical tests parameters were found to follow Weibull drug release kinetics. Cubosome enhanced the bioavailability of loaded statins in many folds, along with a significant reduction in high-fat diet mediated inflammation of liver and brain cells, as well as a significant reduction in the extent of statins, mediated rhabdomyolysis (biomarker creatine kinase in skeletal muscles and kidney cells) incidences. 
Apart from the synthesis of polymers for the development of different types of drug delivery systems,  in-vitro cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and immunohistochemistry; I also have good expertise in various in-silico approaches which are molecular docking and dynamics, QbD (Quality by Design), DoE (Design of experiments), ANN, 3-D designing for various shapes of solid dosage forms, statistical packages for modeling of in-vitro drug release, IVIVC and PBPK Modelling using PK-sim.
Being a good learner, as well as your very diverse and interesting research domains; I strongly believe that in a translational research-driven postdoctoral training position in nanomedicine, where I may be able to judiciously integrate novel therapeutics with nanotechnology-based delivery approaches; would motivate me with a sense of quest as well as professionally trained with new research skills. I anticipate that with my current duties, I would ultimately develop some professional academic excellence attributes and interpersonal leadership qualities, within me.
