Dr. Agarwal completed his Ph.D in Computer Science from Jamia Millia Islamia Central University, Delhi in the year 2009. Currently he is associated as Professor & Dean (Engineering) at K.R Mangalam University, Gurugram. He served as Professor & Head of Computer Science & Engineering department with IMS Engineering College Ghaziabad for 12 years.
 
He has a rich teaching experience of more than 21 years in reputed engineering institutions of NCR and research experience of more than 15 years. He has more than 45 research publications in international journals/conferences to his credit. He has 7 research patents to his credit including Australian, German & Indian patent. 
 
His areas of interest & research includes Data Science & Machine Learning algorithms, Algorithms Design & Analysis, Data Analytics, Soft computing Techniques, with hands on experience in ML, NLP, Computer Vision & Deep Learning with Python Programming, Tableau, KNIME etc.  
 
He is an IBM certified data Science Professional & Microsoft certified Programmer. He has been associated as consultant & trainer with Ureka International Learning, Oxford, U.K. He has trained international students on ML & data analytics practical courses. He has also served as a guest faculty at BITS, Pilani and Great Learning.
 
Dr. Pankaj has published books on subjects including Design & Analysis of Algorithms, Microsoft.Net, Software Project Management, Information Security, RDBMS, C Programming etc. Five scholars have completed their Ph.D work under his supervision. Five students have completed their Ph.D work under his supervision and more than 30 students completed their MS/M.Tech thesis work under his supervision.
