Dr. Nidhi Gaur completed her B.Sc. (H) Physics and M.Sc. (H) Physics from Punjab University, Chandigarh. She was awarded the Senior Research Fellowship from CSIR, New Delhi and after joining as JRF under the guidance of Prof. R.P. Sharma at IIT Delhi, she completed her Ph.D. in 2015. Her research field is Astrophysical Physics and several papers are authored by her in reputed international journals. She is working as Assistant Professor in Physics Department, SBAS, and K.R. Mangalam University since 2016. Besides teaching physics courses to postgraduate and graduate students, she is also involved in different activities of the University.

  • 1st August 2016-Till Date : Working as Assistant Professor in K R Mangalam University, Sohna Road, Gurgaon.
  • August 2015 – July 2016 : Worked as Assistant Professor (guest) in Govt College for Girls (Sec 14 , Gurgaon.
  • Research work focuses on understanding the phenomenon of turbulence in space plasmas by studying several nonlinear processes. Precise topic of research is “Analytical models & Numerical simulations to study solar wind turbulence.”
  • 15 publications in international journals of repute.
