Ar. Nisha Sharma
Assistant Professor
Ar. Nisha Sharma is an Assistant Professor at SOAD (School of Architecture & Design), K R mangalam University. Also, currently she is pursuing PhD in architecture from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. She has completed her M.arch in General Architecture from Lingayas University, Faridabad and B.arch from Vastu Kala Academy affiliated by IP University, Delhi. She has around 8 years of teaching experience. Her professional work includes more than 3 years of experience in residential and institutional projects. In architecture firm Kanvinde Rai Chowdhury, New Delhi she worked on institutional projects like IIT Kanpur and IIIT Jabalpur for more than a year. At A7 architects, Gurgaon she has worked in residential and commercial projects in Gurgaon HUDA sectors for more than two years. She has attended various FDP’s and conferences. She has presented paper in National Seminar on Architectural Innovations for Sustainable Growth at Amity University, Jaipur. Her publication includes “Sustainable Cities: A Sustainable Future Growth” in International Journal of Landscape Planning and Architecture. Her areas of interest in Practice, Research & Teaching are Building Energy Performance Simulation, Steps towards Net Zero Energy Buildings, Green Building Design using Sustainable Materials and Practices, Energy Retrofit of Buildings, Building Energy Policy, Residential Design. She follows a simple lifestyle by using shared transport, judicial use water and electricity at home.
