Dr. Balal Ali is a prominent political scientist currently serving as the Assistant Professor of Political Science at the K.R. Mangalam University. His academic contributions are significant, particularly in the areas of peace and conflict, Arab-Israel conflict, and West Asia Studies. His research focuses on the interplay between the Hamas and state of Israel and other Palestinian resistance factions, examining how these dynamics affect outcomes in West Asian in particular and International Relations in general. His educational background includes a PhD in Political Science, and he has published extensively in leading academic journals, contributing to the understanding of the role of Hamas in the Palestinian politics in the context of Israel-Palestinian conflict.
1) Ph.D. – Awarded in November 2014 on the topic entitled, “The Role of Hamas in Palestinian Politics since 1993.” from the Department of West Asian Studies, Aligarh Muslim University.

- Presented a paper in an International Seminar on the topic “Oslo Accords and Hamas Response” organized by Department of Political Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, 2016 (India).
- Attended six days workshop personality development and communication skills organized by Aligarh Muslim University in collaboration with MESCO, Hyderabad, dated 14th to 20th November 2012.
- Participated in State of the Nation Survey, January 2009, a social scientific study of issues concerning politics and democracy conducted by Lokniti: Program for Comparative Democracy, Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, Delhi. The Survey was sponsored by the news channel CNN-IBN.
