Dr. Kartika Saharan
Assistant Professor
Dr. Kartika Saharan is Assistant Professor, History at Department, School of Humanities, KR Mangalam University. She is currently teaching undergraduate courses on Ancient Indian history and Understanding Sufism in India. She is also teaching Legal History in School of Law. Her previous contributions to the field include investigation of archival and Persian sources in the study of lesser states in Rajasthan during 17th-18th century; re-investigation of oral traditions prevalent in the Marwar region of Rajasthan; and studying the traditional and cultural construct of Mewat region. She is currently exploring the historical perspective viz-a-viz. the influence of conflict in communities on progress.
