Dr. Narender Yadav is working as an Assistant Professor, Medicinal Chemistry in the School of Medical and Allied Sciences at K. R. Mangalam University.  He is Registered Indian Patent Agent (IN/PA-5422) and member of IPR, Legal and Ethical Matters Cell. He has done M.S. (Pharm.) and Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), SAS Nagar. He has 2 years of experience in Intellectual Property Right (IPR) at Stellarix Consultancy Services, Jaipur and four years of experience in teaching Chemistry at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Apeejay Stya University. He has more than 10 years of research experience in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Carbohydrate Chemistry. He has IPR expertise in Patent Drafting & Filing, Prior Art Searches includes Patentability/Novelty, Invalidity, FTO Searches, Landscape Studies, Technology Scouting Studies, Exploratory Studies, Competitor Analysis, White Space Analysis, Structure Search in Pharmaceutical and Allied Sciences. Synthetic Skills: Experience in design and synthesis of medicinal important NCE’s based on Sugar, Peptide and Glycopeptide. Synthetic experience in handling and conducting organic reactions includes Glycosylation, Protection-Deprotection, Peptide Coupling, Epoxidation, Reduction, Oxidation, Esterification, Etherification and Click Reaction.

Sustainable Chemistry: Experience in conducting sustainable and green organic reactions various approaches like Mechanochemistry, Microwave-assisted Chemistry, Sonochemistry and Flow Chemistry.

Analytical Techniques: Structural elucidation of organic compounds using NMR (1H, 13C), Advance NMR techniques (DEPT, 2D NMR includes COSY, ROESY, HSQC, HMQC, HMBC), Mass Spectrometry (LCMS, GC-MS, MALDI-TOF-TOF, ESI-MS-MS), FTIR, UV and Elemental Analysis.
