Dr. Nudrat Jahan

Dr. Nudrat Jahan has done Ph.D. in psychology from Aligarh Muslim University on topic effectiveness of SSRI, CBT and counseling in treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder’. She is a graduate in Psychology and Economics and Post graduate in Psychology from Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University. She is a trained psychologist with PGD in Psychotherapy, counseling and guidance. Her major area of interest is Cognitive behavior therapy and community mental health. Dr. Nudrat Jahan is founder member of Department of Clinical Psychology, SGT University, Gurugram and was a member of UNESCO chair of Bio-Ethics established in SGT University. She is recipient of Prof. Deepak Bhatt award given by Indian Academy of Applied Psychology (IAAP) and Best research paper award by Indian Association of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (IACBT) which are given to her in international conferences. She is social scientist of ethical committees of various medical collages of Haryana.

As an active researcher she worked as member in collaboration with Dr. Jingzhen Ginger yang, Centre for Injury Research and Policy, Ohio, USA on a multi-country research project, which aim to study ‘Psychological responses, coping Strategies, Physical Activity during the COVID-19 Pandemic’.
25 papers presented in National/ International conferences. Symposium given on ‘Critical Incident stress management in year 2022. She is organizing secretory of 2 international conferences.
