Dr. Monika Khatkar
Assistant Professor – Engineering & Technology
Dr. Monika Khatkar is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at K. R. Mangalam University. She holds an M. Tech. in Computer Science from M. D. University Rohtak. Before joining K. R. Mangalam University, Ms. Monika also worked as a research associate at K R Mangalam University, where she gained experience in teaching and research.
Ms. Monika’s research interests include Data Analysis, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Deep Neural networks including IoT and Cyber Security. Her work has been published in several academic journals and international conferences. She has published three Patents; the first is from Germany while the second and third if from India. In addition to her research, Dr Monika is an active member of professional organisations, including the IEEE, and a member of the Centre of Excellence for AI, at K R Mangalam University.
She has extensive teaching experience in UG and PG courses in subjects like Deep Neural Networks, Big Data Analysis and Visualization, Digital Electronics, Cyber Security, Cyber Law and Ethics, ICT as well as Fundamentals of Management. She has handled course delivery, exam and quiz preparation, conduction, and marking of students.
She is dedicated to providing her students with a rigorous and engaging education. She is committed to advancing the field of Deep Neural Networks through her research and teaching in a joyful environment.

- 7 years of experience as a research Scholar in K.R. Mangalam University and now working as an Assistant Professor.
- Â Detect and Isolate replay attack in mutual authentication based ALARM protocol.
- The goal of this work was to find and resolve possible attacks in MANET even after using alarm. This work focused on detection and isolation of attack (REPLAY ATTACK) and simulation the same using network simulator.
- In PhD. Research work is associated with IoT security by using deep neural networks and Intrusion detection systems.
- Project proposal submitted in DST based on NLP (Natural language Processing) for Disaster Management.
- Five days FDP on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning 26th -30th 2021 July at KR Mangalam university
