Ms. Kashish Pandey
Assistant Professor – Humanities
An audacious, tenacious and gritty author of the book “Filthy Feelings of Emptiness” holds 4.5 years of work experience in the industry. Her niche area is Sport Psychology which opens up avenues for a salubrious interaction with amateur and elite athletes to understand their tenacity and grittiness. She has served as a Research Assistant at Manav Rachna Institute of International Research and Studies until recently. Her primary research explores the intricate nexus between psychological predictors and the performance of budding and elite athletes. As one reads her published papers, articles and studies, it shrewdly navigates strategic insights into possible interventions which sport psychologists and clinical psychologists can develop to help the tenacious budding athletes who wish to achieve laurels for the country. Her secondary research focuses on the intersections of social psychology. Her book includes Filthy Feelings of Emptiness touching the grey area of modern and contemporary societies. She has bagged several accolades such as the “Best Paper Presenter Award” at the 6th National and International Conference on Health and Sports Sciences (17-18th February, 2023) at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies. Her research paper assiduously explored the moderating effect of metacognition between grit and athletic performance of athletes. Post that, she also bagged a “Young Scholar Award” at the 22nd Biennial Conference held by Sports Authority of India, LNCPE at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The conference was conducted from 31st Aug to 3rd August where Japan and Korean delegates were welcomed as the dignitaries. Also, she recently bagged a “Best Paper Presenter Award” at the International Conference on the theme sustainable growth through digital innovation conducted on 21st-22nd March, 2024, which was in collaboration with International Management College GERMANY. One of the sub themes of this conference was Women Empowerment where she presented her research paper covering the tenacious and gritty experiences of female athletes.
