Her dedication to artistic exploration has garnered recognition, notably receiving the Scholarship to Young Artists from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India in 2018. She has participated in esteemed programs such as the Artist in Residence program at World University of Design in 2019 and the International Artist Residency organized by Art for Change Foundation in 2017. Additionally, her involvement in the Moving Images workshop by FICA and contribution to the collaborative art project “Other Voices: Other Cities” with Sue Williamson, supported by Prameya Art Foundation, showcase her diverse engagement in the art world.
Mittal’s work has been featured in notable exhibitions, including MOMus: Museum of Contemporary Art, Thessaloniki, Greece, as part of the ‘Brief Parables of Dystopia’ exhibition. Her participation in the Serendipity Arts Festival, Goa 2019, under the curated theme ‘Call to Disorder: Experiments in Practice and Research’ by Vidya Shivadas reflects her inclusion in significant artistic events. Noteworthy exhibitions in India, such as ‘Notes on Tending’ organized by FICA at Indian Art Fair 2022, have further enriched the tapestry of her artistic portfolio.
