Dr. Sujata completed her Ph.D. from Amity University, Haryana, in May 2022. Her dissertation is entitled “Synthesis and Characterization of Graphene Oxide (GO) Based Materials for Various Applications.” She completed Master’s in Chemistry (Gold Medalist) from Jaipur National University in 2016 and Bachelor’s in Chemistry (Hons.) from Maitreyi College, Delhi University, in 2014. She has 12 publications.

- My dissertation is entitled “Synthesis and Characterization of Graphene Oxide (GO) Based Materials for Various Applications.” In my Ph.D., my first objective is to understand the change in structural and optical properties as well as the thermal stability of graphene oxide during nanocomposite formation. The second study revolves around nanocomposites that play a vital role in the removal of dyes from wastewater. In this work, graphene oxide composites with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide nanoparticles were fabricated via a thermal coupling process that demonstrates exclusive physiochemical properties. The Last study included the nature of trypsin adsorption on the GO surface. We have further visualized morphological change in the GO-trypsin interface throughout the adsorption process by taking samples at definite time intervals, which suggests that the interaction of trypsin with GO is an example of the soft corona.
