Position Title: Assistant Professor

Department: Journalism and Mass Communication

Location: K.R. Mangalam University, Delhi NCR

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging course content in integrated media, Animation, VFX, Graphics and Multimedia.
• Mentor students on projects and research initiatives.
• Independently handle the production of graphics and digital content for the university’s website and social media channels.
• Collaborate with industry partners to secure internships and practical training opportunities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Participate in curriculum design and assessment processes.
• Conduct research and contribute to academic publications.
• Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Digital Media Production, Animation & VFX, Multimedia, or related fields (Ph.D. preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of teaching and curriculum development experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• At least 2 years of industry experience in Digital Media Production, Animation & VFX, or related fields.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk Maya, Unity, Unreal Engine).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
