A Is your University recognized / approved by the UGC?

Yes. K. R. Mangalam University (KRMU) is established under the Haryana Private University Act, 2006 and is approved by UGC under Section 2f. You may visit the UGC website, which lists KR Mangalam University as UGC Approved University.

BDoes the University provide transport facility to its students? If yes, what is the fee?

Yes. University provides AC deluxe bus facility. At present, the Fee is Rs 30,000 per Semester.

C How far is your university from the last Metro station of Gurgaon (HUDA City Centre)?

The University is 17 km from HUDA City Center Metro station. University’s shuttle bus service is available from HUDA City Center Metro Station and Rajiv Chowk Gurgaon free of cost. For admission applicant visit, shuttle will be available at the above location at 10am every day. The shuttle service is also available from South Delhi on admission applicant request.

D Is your University associated with any international University or College?

The University over past few years has tied up with various Academicians across different colleges in different parts of the world for cross country curriculum development. The collaborations with many leading Universities in US and Europe for International exposure in terms of Student/ Faculty Exchange Programe, Research, Top-up programmes have been established. To name few such as ESCE in France, Roehampton University in London, UBIS in Geneva, Plymouth University, UK and Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK

E Does the University accept IB Board marks?

Yes, we accept all scores of class XII equivalent to CBSE and state board examinations.

F Does the University provide Laptop for students?

The University has well equipped with the latest technology and software fully functional 5 Computer Labs. The campus is wi-fi. The students are required to make their own arrangements of Laptop, where ever required.

G Does the University have part time / distance learning courses?

No, we firmly believe in Campus education.

H Is the infrastructure of the University ready and can we visit?

The University has world class infrastructure. You are invited to visit us between 10am to 3pm, Monday to Saturday.

I Where exactly is the university located?

University is located on Gurgaon-Sohna Road, State Highway No. 13.

J Are Candidate From Open School Eligible?

A candidates whose schooling has been under the open school system is eligible to apply, subject to statutory requirements under some of the programs. For example: The applicants who have completed 10+2 through Open School system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in the law Courses. (BCI Rules of Legal Education, 2008)

K What is the Admission Procedure?

You are encouraged to apply online at www.krmangalam.edu.in and attach the necessary qualifying examination documents. Selection will be on the basis of entrance test, interview and the verification of documents. Provisional admission will be granted thereafter.

l What is NATA? How can I apply for it?

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. NATA 2017 for admission into 1st year of 5 year B. Arch Degree course at various institutions in India for the academic session 2017-18 would be conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) a one-day examination (paper based, OFFLINE) all over the country on 16.4.2017 (Sunday). No more tests would be conducted after that date for the academic session 2017-18. Last date for filling up ONLINE at the NATA portal http://www.nata.nic.in was till 11th Feb, 2017.

M Does the University Offer Scholarship?

Yes, we offer Scholarships to all deserving applicants. For Scholarship details, kindly contact the Registrar’s office.

N Does the University conduct any Entrance exam, Group Discussion or Personal Interview for admission?

Admission in the University is based on the marks in qualifying exam as prescribed in the eligibility criteria, followed by the university entrance test and Interview.

o Does the University consider National level competitive examination score / ranking for Admission and Scholarship?

Yes, a due weightage is given.

P Does the University provide on campus hostel facility?

Yes, well established Hostel separately for Girls and Boys is available on campus, with 24 hours security on Quad sharing basis. Hostels are Air Conditioned, Spacious & Well Ventilated. All the rooms are fully furnished with Beds, Study Tables & Chairs. Mess facility with various indoor outdoor sports activities are available 24×7 to all the students.

Q Is it possible to get work permit along with PG courses? What if anyone wants to work part time with MBA or other programme?

No, as the university offers full time regular courses only.

R Does the university provide any international exposure to the MBA students?

The University provides international exposure to its MBA students. Batch of 2016-18 is due for 2-weeks international summer school at Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK in July 2017.

S Is there any lateral entry scheme for the Students?

The Lateral Entry in 2nd Year is permitted as per the AICTE guidelines. Please refer to Annexure IV Lateral Entry Scheme.docx, for details.

T Does the University offer any Diploma Courses?

Yes, the University offers Diploma in Pharmacy duly approved by Pharmacy Council of India. Various Post Graduate Diploma in streams such as engineering, management, law, architecture are also available.
