Guest Lecture On 'Are Our Words In The Chains Of Gender'

School of Journalism and Mass Communication, organized a guest lecture on 'Are Our Words in the Chains of Gender' by Ms Kanika Joshi, Assistant Professor from School of Humanities at K.R. Mangalam University for BAJMC & MAJMC students. The session commenced through Microsoft Teams with a generic discussion over the understanding of the aforementioned topic amongst the participants. The discussion was followed by an interactive and informative presentation wherein several day to day examples were put forth for better understanding of the participants. Ms. Joshi emphasized on learning in order to inculcate gender Sensitivity by selecting gender neutral language. The session culminated with a short activity conducted by her. The session witnessed active interest and participation by the participants. Around 35 students from School of Journalism and Mass Communication attended the lecture.
