NSS Unit Successfully Organized Expression Intra-University Event on November 18

NSS Unit, KR Mangalam University successfully organized the intra university ‘EXPRESSION’ event on 18th November 2021 in offline mode from 1:30 pm onwards in the university premises. Just like any event organized by any society/ club is always an exciting affair & brings alive a lot of nostalgic memories, the EXPRESSION  event was a success on its own bringing together all the students and giving them a moment to live amidst the chaos caused by COVID-19 Pandemic.
 
Just like every year, NSS events never fail to excite everyone and make them want for more. This year, the event received a huge footfall of audience and over 30 participants from various schools across the campus.
 
This year the event was presided over by the honorable Chief Guest, Mr. Narendra Kumar, General Manager, Medanta Medacity Hospital, and Dr. Taniya Gupta, Dean of Student Welfare Association, K R Mangalam University. As per Indian culture, the event began on a positive note with the chanting of Lord Ganesha’s Shloka followed by lighting of the lamp by the chief guests as well the entire team of NSS. Prof. Pushplata Tripathi and Prof. Avireni Srinivasulu, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, K R Mangalam University joined the event and motivated the students to do their best yet enjoy the event at the same time.
 
NSS Event

The event, “Expression” had two important segments i.e. “HASTKALA” and “RANGMANCH”. The participants of Hastakala were allotted a separate room for showcasing their talents through painting, creating the best out of waste material, mehendi and rangoli designing while the participants of Rangmanch were called up on stage for various performances such as dancing, singing, playing instrumental music, poetry and speech. The program was led successfully under the guidance of the NSS Coordinator, Dr. Chandra Mohan, and NSS Member, Dr. Neeraj Kumari.
 
NSS Event

In RANGMANCH, participants were judged on the basis of their communication skills, expression, and confidence. The First Prize which consisted of a Trophy and a Cash Prize was bagged by Rohan Philip, whereas the second and third prizes were conferred to Yash Sharma and Parminder Singh respectively.
 
In HASTKALA, Muskan and Madhuri bagged the first Prize for the best Mehendi Design followed by Ms. Suruchi and Ms. Parul for their best art bagged second and third prize respectively.
 
NSS Event

The audiences and the participants were given the refreshments midway of the event so as to enjoy the ongoing performances with great enthusiasm and not get bored!.
The event ended with a vote of thanks given by honorable Dr. Chandra Mohan, NSS Coordinator.
