159th Celebration of National Youth Day/ Rashtriya Yuva Diwas

Teenage years in students' lives is a very crucial time when they are juggling between a range of tasks and pressures. They must complete their college tasks flawlessly, prepare for a variety of exams or tests, receive fantastic grades, work better at their workplace, and increase their performance. 

To bring a balance between the inner & the outer life of our youth & in light of the urgent situation caused by COVID 19, Chetna Society at K R Mangalam University, in collaboration with the Heartfulness Team, virtually celebrated 159th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on 12th January 2022, which is marked as National Youth Day / Rashtriya Yuva Diwas. 
 
This event was organised for the university's students, teachers, and staff. The goal of this Workshop was to encourage young learners to understand the lessons of Swami Vivekananda for the youth which are still relevant today because many difficulties are the same & his teachings offer a method to solving these issues.
 
The celebrations commenced with the welcome note by Dr. Ruchika Yadav, Associate Professor SOMC & Convener Chetna Society.
 
Mr. Atul Kumar – HR Head at a renowned MNC Gurugram & Heartfulness Trainer, shared the presentation & discussed the illustrious life history and deeds of Swami Vivekananda especially for youth, he said that the development of the country depends on the youth and asked the youngsters to emulate Swami Vivekananda.

Dr. Gaurav– Assistant Professor at NIT Kurukshetra & Heartfulness Trainer addressed the students and threw light on the world famous Chicago Conference of Swami Vivekananda.
 
Ms. Loveleena- Lecturer –DTE, Haryana, State Coordinator (Member Haryana Yoga & Sports Association) & Heartfulness Trainer got the students involved in the discussion where students participated well & answered many questions related with Swami Vivekananda’s Life & purpose of life for a youth.
 
Dr. Anshul Saluja – Assistant Professor SOED, Assistant Dean-Student Welfare and Member Chetna Society at K R Mangalam University ended the session with Vote of Thanks.
