Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav-Desh Ke Naam Ek Rangoli Sajao

Rangoli is an ancient art and timeless tradition that is followed all over India. The word ‘Rangoli’ is said to have been derived from the words ‘Rang’ and ‘Aavalli’ which refers to a row of colors. In order to develop skills of aesthetics, creativity, and innovation among the students, an “Inter-University Rangoli Competition” was organized by the School of Education (SOED) on 22nd February 2022 from 10:30 a.m . to 12: 30 p.m. on the 2nd Floor A-Block. 
 

 

The Theme was “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – Desh Ke Naam Ek Rangoli Sajao” and brought out the fervor of the students. The competition was inaugurated with a few words from the Event Coordinator Ms. Manju Kundu to boost the enthusiasm of the students. A total of 12 teams participated in the event and decorated their Rangolis with colors and flowers showcasing their creativity. Students participated with great vigor and enthusiasm. There were hard competitions among the participants.
 

 

Three teams were adjudged by the Judges.
  • Team K ( Muskaan and Nandini ) From K.R. Mangalam University stood 1st 
  • Team F ( Simran and Nusrat ) From SGT University stood 2nd 
  • Team C ( Devika, Neha and Varnika ) From K.R.. Mangalam University stood 3rd 
 
All the teams put in their best efforts and after the competition, the SOED corridor was sparkling with beautiful use of colors and designs. The rangoli-making competition motivated the students to perform and outshine their creative skills. At the end of the event, there was a prize distribution ceremony. The event was concluded with the enlightening speech of the judges. Dean, SOED Prof.(Dr.) Tania Gupta appreciated the students and encouraged them to develop a skillful and colorful attitude in life and praised the event Coordinators for organizing such events in the college that not only help students to learn new skills but also help them to gain a sense of responsibility.
