On the 27th Feb 2023, the School of Agricultural Sciences, K.R. Mangalam University organized a cultural program for students on food diversity at Bhondsi Village. Dr. S.S. Sharma addressed various crucial points related to diversity in food. At first, he appreciated the cultural diversity in food and helped to identify relationships between the natural, social, and cultural environments. He also emphasized how individual preferences lead to different eating practices in the family. The nutritional benefits of the foods consumed in other parts of the country were discussed at length. Students were aware about the various types of food they consume and what are their benefits.
