Cyber Crime Against Women And Sexual Harassment Of Women At Workplace

National Service Scheme unit of K.R. Mangalam University organized its first offline event in the campus after the Lockdown on 13th February 2021. The main theme of the event was Legal Awareness towards “Cyber Crime against Women and Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace”. The program was sponsored by National Commission for Women (NCW) New Delhi and witnessed gathering of volunteers and guests from different work places for the event. The event commenced with a welcome note by NSS Committee member, Dr. Neeraj Kumari and NSS’s Lakshaya geet “Swayam Saje Vasundhara”. Dr. Rajulben Desai, Honorable member of National Commission of Women, Govt. of India and Sh. Sanjay Upadhaya, Chief Editor of Motherland Voice Media was the chief guest of the event. Mr. Desai stressed on having Internal Complaint committee including atleast ten female employees in each organization and Mr. Upadhya acknowledged and appreciated the organizing team for chosing this relevant topic for the event and created awareness on women rights. Mr. Karnal Singh, Retired IPS Officer, Prof. Pradeep Kulshreshtha, Dean, School of law in Sharda University, Mr. Vijay Gaur, Correspondent, Motherland Voice Media, Ms. Ankita Sharma, Id. Chief Judicial magistrate-cum-secretary, DLSA Jhajjar were among the prominent speakers for the event. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Chandra Mohan, NSS Co-ordinator
