Everyone out there must be wondering what exactly is Design Thinking? What is the meaning of design thinking? Design thinking is a process for solving problems by prioritizing the consumer’s needs above all else. It relies on observing, with empathy, how people interact with their environments and employs an iterative, hands-on approach to creating innovative solutions.

The speaker of the webinar was Mr. Roopam Mishra, Founder at Phionike, a Design - Tech Studio. He believes in human-centered Design, and along with his team, he is helping early-stage founders Validate, Build and Launch their ideas. All the products that they build, design & research are at the heart of it.

Why design thinking is important Design Thinking is a strategy for creative problem solving by prioritizing customers’ requirements above everything else. It helps to engage a person in several opportunities like experimenting and creating a prototype model, gathering feedback from customers, and redesigning the product using innovative solutions.

Faculty co-ordinator Dr. Priyanka Desai, (Associate Professor) with technical help by Dr. Pooja Nagpal (Associate Professor). The amazing full of excitement webinar was coordinated by Mohit Singh, a third-semester undergraduate in B.Tech Computer Science.

The main takeaway on design thinking Was #10. Design is not a linear process. It’s important not to get stuck in the planning stages, and remember to sketch, prototype, and test solutions (even if they are half-baked). Design is a cyclical process of learning, hypothesizing, testing, and observing In between, Priyanka’s mam asked questions Like why it is important for students and all, Sir gave answers. And in the past students have asked many doubts related to design and thinking. It was really amazing webinar .
