To understand the industrial setup of Food and Beverage outlet work, the School of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, K.R.Mangalam University organized an Industrial Visit to Dheeraj Vaishno Dhaba on 22nd June 2022. Dheeraj Vaishno Dhaba has been established in 1986 in Gurgaon, the cliental address is local, and most of the employees of Maruti Suzuki. This is also running with the facility of free home delivery till 3 km. and has a facility to order via Zomato or Swiggy. Dheeraj Dhaba provides employment to more than 20 employees. This is established with proper storage and exhaust system. Dhaba is licensed by FSSAI and the local municipal board.
Students got the firsthand experience of working in a Local Dhaba, how to deal with local customers, local demands of eating, local accompaniments, and suggestive selling. This was a highly informative session for the students of SOHMCT as well as the staff of Dhaba, they also got hands-on experience of properly working in a local cuisine Dhaba.
