About Namangan Engineering-Construction Institute
The Namangan branch of the Tashkent Institute of Mechanical Engineering was founded in 1991 as the Namangan Engineering Construction Institute. Namangan Engineering and Pedagogical Institute were renamed Namangan Engineering and Pedagogical Institute in 1998, and Namangan Engineering Construction Institute was renamed in 2017.
The institute is located in Namangan, a city in eastern Uzbekistan, as its name suggests. The city has been a major commerce and manufacturing centre since the 17th century.
Construction, industry information, engineering communications, transportation, mechanical engineering, energy and labour protection, and economics and management are the university's seven faculties. There are various departments within each faculty that offer undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.
Students can participate in a variety of clubs and societies, including volleyball, table tennis, football, and chess. These clubs compete at national and international tournaments to represent the university every year.
