23rd February Venue - KR Mangalam University

Recycle Product Design Competition

On the third day of the ongoing week-long inter-university cultural fiesta at KR Mangalam University, students from different universities showcased their artistic prowess during a Recycle Product Design contest, organised by the School of Architecture and Design, Fashion Design Department. The competition was organised on Wednesday, 23rd February 2022 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in Block-C, 1st Floor, Room No-116. The contest was aimed at spreading awareness about recycling and underlining its importance in today’s time.

Recycling is important in today’s world if we want to leave this planet for our future generations. It is good for the environment since we are making new products from the old products which are of no use to us. Recycling begins at home. If we are not throwing away any of the old products and instead utilizing them for something new, then we are actually recycling.

Recycling is the process of collecting and processing materials that would otherwise be thrown away as trash and turning them into new products. Recycling can benefit your community and the environment. It focuses on reducing, reusing and recycling. Recycling not only reduces the cost of raw material but also benefit our community and the environment. Recycling is one of the best ways for you to have a positive impact on the world in which we live. Recycling is important to both the natural environment and us. We must act fast as the amount of waste we create is increasing all the time.
Mansi Bansal from KRMU was adjudged the winner of the completion while Anjali Kumari, also from KRMU, bagged the second position. Yashika from KRMU and the pair of Harmandeep and Amanjeet from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University claimed the joined third position.
