Special Lecture

School of Legal Studies, K. R. Mangalam University organized a Special Lecture- V on “Social Aspects of Ethics for Budding Lawyers” as a part of Motilal Nehru Lecture Series. The Chief guest of the event was Hon'ble Justice Manju Goel, the former Justice of Delhi High Court. Professor Chandra Shekhar Dubey, the Vice Chancellor of the University along with Professor Mehraj Mir, the chair professor of Motilal Nehru Chair and Parveen Mahajan, the Registrar of the University also joined the event. 125 students along with faculty members attended the session. The main purpose of this event was to highlight the importance of ethics and the role it plays in a professional setting. Justice Manju in her speech emphasized on the importance of ethics and covered fundamental topics such as the legal code of conduct, duty of lawyers towards both their clients and the court as well as the importance of professional ethics. She emphasized on the importance of sincerity as a pre-requisite for success.
