School of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, K.R. Mangalam University organized a workshop on healthy cooking and eating habits on 9th September 2022. The workshop focused on providing training and practical experience to the students by finding out different areas in the Training Kitchen and making a crew and then deep cleaning those areas. Post that a cooking exercise was done in which the students explained which parts of the cooking process they found to be following HACCP and which parts they identified as unhealthy cooking practices. This activity would help the students to identify if the professional kitchens in the hotels and restaurants are following HACCP procedures and are deep cleaning the kitchen and workstations.
