Zest 2022- Annual Inter-University Sports Event
Sports society of K.R.Mangalam University organized “ZEST” on 11th and 12th March 2022. All the students were welcomed to participate in this event. Various activities were organized by the department so that students can cheer up and enjoy extracurricular activities. Some of the activities include Football, Cricket, Basketball, Tables Tennis Singles, Tables Tennis Doubles, Badminton Doubles (M &W), Athletics (M) – 100M, 200M, Athletics (W) – 100M, 200(M).
The opening ceremony was conducted on 11th March 2022 at 10:00 am. Prof. Arun Garg (Dean SMAS), Dr. Tania Gupta (Dean SMAS), and Mr. Ashwani Kumar (Convener – Sports Society) inaugurated the event by lightening the lamp and making the students take an “oath for fair play”.
Around 210 participants from 13 Universities/Institutes (Listed Below) took part in the event. Some of the universities that participated in this event are G. D. Goenka University, S. G. T University, Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, The NorthCap University, J. K. Business School, R.P.S College Of Engineering, and many more. After the winners were decided an award ceremony was conducted by the faculties.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Ashwani Kumar. Our university won in the cricket competition, G.D.Goenka University students won the football competition and in basketball students from R.P.S Institute of technology won. After the event ended students were provided with refreshments.
