INTRODUCTION:
International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8th of march every year. Theme given by WHO for the year 2024 is ‘Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress”. School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences in collaboration with Health Society, K. R. Mangalam University, Sohna Road (Gurugram) Organized an event on 7th march 2024 which included an awareness talk session on the topic ‘Role of Physiotherapy in Women’s Life Cycle’ Followed by a Health Camp which included Free Gynecological Consultation, Free Physiotherapy Consultations and Blood Test at Discounted Prices on 07th of March 2024.
The aim of this event was to spread awareness about the role of Physiotherapy in women’s life and provide proper consultations for female faculty and Students.

OBJECTIVE:
• To spread Awareness about importance of Physiotherapy in Women’s Life
• To provide Health Check-up for female students and Faculty
• To provide Gynecological Consultation for proper diagnosis
• To provide Physiotherapy Consultations for female faculty and students.

METHODOLOGY:
In Morning an awareness talk was conducted on the topic ‘Role of Physiotherapy in women’s life cycle’ the objective of the talk session was to create awareness about the physiotherapy treatment among the female population. Session was conducted by Dr Kangana Juneja Kansal (PT), Assistant Professor, OPD In-charge SPRS. session was conducted in B-301, students and faculty attended the session.
After the session, Health Camp was planned in Physiotherapy OPD, which offered free Gynecological Consultations, Free Physiotherapy Consultations and Blood test on discounted prices by Radcliffe Diagnostic Laboratory. Health Camp was inaugurated by Dr Anjana Singh, Dean student Welfare, Dr Mamta Shankar, Dean SPRS and Dr Deepa Jaiswal Grag (Gynecologist).
Students and Faculty from different departments came to Physiotherapy OPD for their check-up and consultations.

OUTCOME:
The Female who attended the talk session, understand the role of Physiotherapy in gynecological conditions. Many questions were taken from the audience and were answered properly. Health camp provided consultations to patients and blood sample collection was benefited to many faculty members.

FUTURE SCOPE:
Females would take their health at priority. Many taboos and myths were discussed in the session to create awareness in the females which help them to understand their body better.
