October 16, 2020: The Health Society along with School of Medical and Allied Sciences (SMAS) organized an Intra-University Virtual Competition on the topic “Vaccine vs Monoclonal Antibodies: Tackling COVID-19 through State-of-the-Art Technology”. The participants made and presented PowerPoint Presentation on the theme.

The event was assessed on the basis of quality of slides, matter to be presented and presentation skills of all the 10 participants. The finalists were selected on 13th October 2020, before the competition. The whole competition was hosted by the students from M. Pharmacy. It was very interactive and informative which was attended by approx. 146 attendees.

The competition was judged by Dr. Satyender Rajput, Dean of Pharmacy from Gurukul Kangri University, Dr. Sahil Arora, Dean of School of Medical and Allied Sciences, Mrs. Silky Sethy, In-charge of Health Society and Associate professor of SMAS. Dr. Sucheta, Associate Professor, SMAS co-ordinated the event.

M. Pharm 1st Year student Ms. Nidhi Bansal got fist position. Second prize winner was B. Pharm 3rd Year student Ms Garima Goyal. Third position was tie between B. Pharm 1st Year student Mr. Vaibhav and M. Pharm 2nd Year student Ms. Nidhi Kushawa

It was only because of the team efforts put by faculty members and students that this event was a huge success, and we hope similar amazing events will be conducted in the future as well. And we are grateful to be a part of such an esteemed institute.
