Rhetoric Club
Rhetoric Club at K. R. Mangalam University plays a significant role in the lives of every literary enthusiast at the University. One of the most awaited events conducted under its aegis is its annual literary event Rhetoric which conducts inter-University literary competitions such as poetry competitions, story writing competitions, essay writing sessions and extempore to encourage listening and speaking, reading and writing skills of the students. Many students find interest in scribbling down the thoughts and ideas that run through their minds. With this special initiative, the club aims to make those intentions a part of their learning as students also find their careers out of these activities in the long run. The club organizes regular activities which nurture and shape students to become orators thus contributing to their holistic grooming.
The objectives of the Rhetoric Club are as:
- To provide a platform for the students to hone their skills related to language and literature.
- To create a platform where students can work on their basic communication and presentation skills.
- To provide an opportunity for students to share their ideas and to get involved in productive discussions focusing on students’ weaker areas related to their written and communication skills.
