Guest lecture on Values, Fundamental Rights, and Duties of Citizens
A Guest lecture on Values, Fundamental Rights, and Duties of Citizens as reflected in the Constitution of India on 13 April 2022 was conducted. The guest lecture was organized by the School of Education, K.R.Mangalam University in association with the legal consortium to commemorate Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti.
The lecture aims to explain the evolution of Constitutionalism and how the values operate in different spheres of social and political life.
The participants will not only gain extensive knowledge and perspectives in this field but will also be successful in grappling with the various nuances of the Indian Constitution and fundamental rights. The guest lecture was started by presenting a token of gratitude by Prof. (Dr.) Tania Gupta, Dean, School of Education, and Dr. P.C Jena, School Coordinator, School of Education to our guest speaker Prof. Shakuntla Nagpal, Former Head, Department of Teacher Education and Extension, NCERT, New Delhi.
Students from various departments attended the lecture which was very enriching and knowledgeable. The session came to an end with a hearty thanks and a memento to our speaker. Everyone learned a lot and it was an interesting session altogether.
