I am Dr. Sarina, Assistant Professor, SJMC, KR Mangalam Univeristy, Gurugram. I have completed my Ph.D from IMC&MT, Kurukshetra and it was awarded on June 2021. I worked as JRF in a research project which under BARC and DAE in GJUS&T, Hisar. In the project, demographic survey was conducted in the area covering a distance of 30 KM from the site. Data was Collected and analyzed in SPSS software. 
 
I also worked as Casual Announcer in All India Radio. It was a part time job but interesting one. The day, I was on duty, used to manage the entire radio studio, did live announcements and programing and managed the register and on air material record. I have quiet analytical mind and can adjust in any environment easily. I have ability to contribute towards research.

  • One year experience of research project entitled “Study on demographic surveiliance around proposed nuclear power plant site in Haryana covering a distance of 30KM from the site” under BARC and DAE in GJUS&T, Hisar. 
  • Causal Announcer in All India Radio, Kurukshetra from 2018 to 19 and from October 2010 to December 2010.
 
Attended two International Conferences:
  • International conference on “communication for Social change and development: Imperatives and constraints”, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Presented paper on “Social agenda setting through cartoons- A semiotic analysis of Political cartoons in Indian Newspapers”.
  • International conference on “Development communication in the digital era: Towards newer scopes”, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar. Presented paper on “A critical review on the developmental issues covered by English Dailies”.
  • Published a research paper, “Content analysis of cartoons of Indian newspapers: A comparative study” in Research Drop Journal, Vol. 5, Issue 2.
