The school has state-of-the-art infrastructure with modern settings and cutting-edge apparatus that helps students hone practical skills within the campus.

AV Studio

School of Journalism & Mass communication has a state-of-the-art audio-visual studio with panel lighting and a set Chroma background for advanced programme production. A fully functional teleprompter is also available in the studio, empowering students to learn and practice news delivery for television. For recording and production purposes, professional high-end video and still photography cameras are at students’ disposal.

Production Control Room

Adjacent to the Audio-Visual studio is the production control room with post-production equipment upgraded with software such as Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro.

These systems run on constantly upgraded iMac and Windows machines which match the industry standards.

Radio Lab

The radio lab has a set of two condenser microphones to record studio-quality sound.

An industry-standard audio console facilitates students to understand and learn the nuances of studio recording and production. Along with this, audacity (audio editing software) is available for post-production practice. The radio studio helps in professional sound recording and production.

Computer Lab

A fully equipped computer lab with upgraded software including Adobe InDesign, Corel Draw, QuarkXPress, and Photoshop is there in the department.

These software are used for the layout and designing of different publication materials requisite for Journalism & Mass Communication students to work in the industry.
