This five-year integrated programme trains young minds with essential skills to fulfil the present necessities and future challenges in the legal profession. The curriculum delivers intensive knowledge and management training in subjects like Humanities, Social Science, etc. Students gain practical skills through Moot Court exercises, Clinical work, Client interviewing & Counselling, Practical sessions in Procedural laws, lectures in Substantive laws, etc. The programme envisions making students competent legal practitioners by polishing their managerial skills. Course Outline

Law of Contract, Law of Torts, Family Law ( Hindu Law & Mohammedan Law ), Constitutional Law of India, Law of Crimes, Law relating to Transfer of Property and Easement, Land Laws, Company Law, Labour Laws, Administrative Law, Taxation Law, Law of Evidence Act,1872, The Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, The Code of Civil Procedure 1908, Juvenile Justice Act 2015 and Probation of Offenders Act,1958, Law of Limitation,1963.

Arbitration, Conciliation and Alternative Disputes Resolution System, Profession Ethics, Lawyers Accountability, and Bar- Bench Relations, Public Interest Lawyering, Legal Aid and Para Legal Services, Environmental Law, Public International Law and Human Rights; Criminology and Penology and Victimology, Trust Equity Fiduciary Relationship, Legal Languages, Legal Writing, Interpretation of Statutes, Drafting, Pleading, Conveyancing and Moot Court Trial. Students can do specialization in Criminal law / Constitutional law / Human Rights law / International laws etc.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination in Commerce or any Stream with Mathematics as one of the Subjects.

Career Options

Bar Council of India had found in a survey that there is a great demand for skilled lawyers. A law student can be a Public Prosecutor, Solicitor General, or a part of private legal firms after gaining experience. Law students after successful completion of the programme can appear in the examination conduct by the Public State Service Commission, in different Govt. examinations.

They can also opt for the most prestigious Judicial examination. A potential lawyer can work in ministry, government departments and various legal advice organizations, LPO's, etc. In due course of time, you can specialize as a Criminal Lawyer, Civil Litigation Lawyer, Legal Analyst, Document drafting Lawyer, Legal Journalist, Legal Advisor, General Counsel in Banks and Business House.
