She was also a recipient of Fulbright Nehru Doctoral fellowship, under which she visited Columbia University in New York as a visiting research fellow for six months. In Columbia university, she carried out PDF Studies to understand the local electronic structure of rare earth doped tungsten oxide–based nanostructures using synchrotron-based studies.

- She is currently working on the investigation of luminescence centers and defect structure of TM/RE doped WO3 for various optoelectronic applications. Besides this, she also works on energy efficient optical devices exhibiting effective down-conversion and up-conversion mechanisms.
