The Placements Process

K.R. Mangalam University is a preferred destination for most of the MNCs to hire fresh talents from various fields of Engineering, Management, Law, Science, and more. More than a hundred companies visit the KRMU campus every year and carry out campus placement drives to recruit budding professionals based on their performances. The university boasts an excellent track record for placements.

Students should study the company profile online and decide if they are interested in participating in a particular recruitment process. If so, they need to apply online to the Centre for inclusion.

The registered students will get informed about the recruiter visit as and when their schedule gets fixed through email/university website.

Students who come to attend the recruitment and decide to sit for the written test after the Pre-placement talk must continue with the complete procedure unless they get eliminated at some stage. Defaulters will not be allowed to apply for any of the forth-coming recruitments.

Restrictions

Securing at least one job for every student will always remain a priority for the centre, therefore some restrictions have been proposed. They are as under

  • Students who have already been selected by two employers will have to wait to appear for more recruitment processes till most of their batch mates get a fair chance. The Head of the CRC, however, is authorized to use discretion in some cases.
  • In this regard, a student would be considered selected if his/her name features in the final list of successful candidates. In case it features on the waiting list, he/she will be allowed to apply and appear for the recruitment of other companies.
  • Students getting an offer letter from two or more recruiters will have to decide upon one before completing their programme and inform the others accordingly through the Resource centre.

Points to remember on the day of the visit of recruiters

  • Students must come smartly dressed in complete college uniform (coat/blazer is optional).
  • Candidates must reach the venue at least half an hour before the scheduled time for the PPT. They are advised to adhere to the timings through the process also and be present at the venue punctually before the scheduled time for each of the rest of the stages.
  • No student shall be allowed to enter the venue if he/she is late by more than 10 minutes for the Pre-Placement Talk and in such a case he/she will be considered absent.
  • For any Recruitment Process, candidates must carry

    • University identity card.
    • 2 copies of Curriculum Vitae.
    • 2 passport size photographs.
  • Students should be properly equipped with enough stationery, a writing board, HB pencil, pen, eraser and stapler, etc. (The cell will not provide these items)

This policy is subject to changes at any stage at the discretion of the CRC/Institute’s authorities. The changes made will be notified to all concerned
