Narayanan Ramaswamy

Narayanan has over 30 years experience in management consulting and industry. He has worked across sectors – starting his career in Information Technology and spanning across Education, Skill Development, Financial Services, Logistics, Energy, Retail and Government. Narayan leads the Education, Skill Development and social sector advisory sector for KPMG India. He is the national champion for KPMG Impact – a global movement by KPMG to support clients in building sustainable institutions. Narayanan has led multiple consulting engagements across India, SAARC, ASEAN, Middle East and African regions, He has led key engagements for leading multilateral and bilateral agencies like World Bank, FCDO, ADB, GIZ, USAID in their Education and Skill Development programs. Mr. Narayanan has been in the expert committees of Ministry of Education & Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship like New Education Policy, 2)EQUIP – 5 year vision plan for Higher Education, India @2047.

He advises the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and multiple state government departments of School education, higher education, technical education and employment. He is part of various committees for Education and Skill Development in leading Industry forums such as CII and FICCI.He has been with KPMG for the past 21 years and prior to that he had worked with Arthur Andersen, PricewaterhouseCoopers and CMC Limited.

Mr. Narayanan has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, post graduate diploma in Management from IIM, Bangalore and Professional Services Leadership Program form Harvard University.
