The School of Journalism and Mass Communication (
SJMC) at K.R. Mangalam University offers the Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication. BJMC is a three-year undergraduate course which provides a blend of practical and holistic knowledge to aspiring mass communication enthusiasts. The course trains students both theoretically and practically in different branches of mass communication to strengthen fundamental basics. These different branches include event management, writing and editing, Public Relations, Moviemaking and Social Media. Globalization and growth of the media sector and technological advancements have led to the tremendous demand for media education in India and across the globe. Journalism programmes have become more industry-oriented to create a balance between industry and academia.
