This three-year integrated programme has the distinct objective of preparing young minds with knowledge, skills, and attitude to make them proficient in meeting the present necessities and future challenges in the legal profession. The course imparts intensive knowledge and management training in subjects like Humanities, Social Science, etc., and a comprehensive understanding of law through Moot Court exercises, Clinical work, Client interviewing & Counselling, Practical session in Procedural law, lectures in Substantive laws, etc.

The objective is to make students efficient in handling managerial responsibilities and to become competent legal practitioners. A vision and unique approach of the School of Legal Studies has emerged as an innovative institution. Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have completed an undergraduate degree from a recognized University with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

Career Options

Bar Council of India had found in a survey that there is a great demand for skilled lawyers. After successful completion of the programme, students can appear in various competitive examinations conducted by the Public/State Service Commission or different high courts. They can become Judicial Officers after pursuing the course. A law graduate can also become a Pleader / Public Prosecutor / Attorney General / Advocate General / Solicitor General. A good lawyer can work in ministry, government departments, and various legal advice organizations, LPOs, etc. In due course of time, one gains specialization as Criminal Lawyer, Civil Litigation Lawyer, Legal Analyst, Document drafting Lawyer, Legal Journalist, Legal Advisor, General Counsel in Banks and Business Houses.
