Dr. P. S. Grover has been Professor, Dean, Director, and Head of Computer Science Department, at Delhi University, Director General at GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi, and Campus Director, KIIT Group of Colleges (MDU University, Rohtak), with over 40 years of teaching and research experience. His areas of research interest are: Software Engineering, Autonomic Software Systems, Quality Assurance in Higher Education. He is on the Research Boards of many universities and has been actively guiding/supervising research students for their doctoral work and thesis. Dr. Grover has delivered invited talks/seminars at many universities in India and abroad, chaired technical sessions, delivered keynote addresses at national/international conferences and workshops.
He has published over 160 research papers in International Refereed Journals/Conferences: IEEE, ACM, Academia.Edu, Journal of Object Technology, Software Engineering, and more. He has been on the Editorial Board of prestigious journals, such as Computing Surveys, ACM Reviews, and others.
Dr. Grover also specializes in Outcome-based Education – processes, practices, and implementation. As an expert and mentor to various institutions, he is an active contributor to the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Processes of NBA/NAAC/NIELIT. He has been empaneled as Marg Darshak by AICTE in its scheme of Quality Assurance in Engineering Institutes.
He has been a regular consultant to the software industry (such as Tata Consultancy Services, IIS Infotech) and universities in India and abroad. He is a senior life member and Fellow of Computer Society of India, Fellow-Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers, Member-Indian Society of Technical Education, Quality Council of India, ACM, IEEE, USA. He has been bestowed with the prestigious recognition of being among the top 50 “Education Innovative Leaders” in the country by the World Innovative Congress and ‘Distinguished Alumnus Award’ by Delhi University during the “Centenary Year Celebrations – 2022-23.”
