Prof. Punam Sahgal is the former Dean & Professor of Organization Behavior, Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. Prior to joining IIM Lucknow, she was e Raman Munjal Chair Professor for Leadership at MDI, Gurgaon. She has over 3 decades of academic experience at MDI, Gurgaon and IIM Lucknow and 4 years Corporate Experience-Director Training, Feedback Ventures Pvt. Ltd and Vice-President Capacity Building and Business HR, National Institute for Smart Government, (NISG), New Delhi.
A Behavioral Trainer and Consultant with corporates, government and international agencies in designing HR systems and processes and managing organizational change.
Punam is a Doctorate in Management from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University and an Accredited Trainer, Indian Society for Applied Behavioral Sciences (ISABS). She was amongst 15 ‘Most Influential Women in Education’ by Business World, March 2022. She has authored / co-authored four books and several research papers in leading journals on Leadership, HR Practices in Indian organizations, Action Learning and Gender Issues.
