Prof. Mohammad Akbar Ansari

Professor Mohammad Akbar Ansari has done his M.Sc. & M. Phil. (Statistics) from AMU Aligarh and M. Phil. and Ph.D. (Social Systems) from JNU, New Delhi. He is a scholar, consultant and teacher/trainer in the strategic management & Entrepreneurship area of IIM Lucknow for last 27 years with 35 years’ experience of teaching/ training in Indian and foreign Institutions . He worked as Advisor for BIMTECH for about 4 years from 2019-2023. He has conducted, participated and consulted with top 100 company management programmes in India. About 15 students have completed / or are in the process of completing their thesis work. He teaches Strategy at Doctoral and Postgraduate levels. He has authored two books on entrepreneurship and strategy. He has written over 70 articles and research papers published in refereed national, many top tier international journals and conferences. He is editor on 6 academic journals, and is a reviewer in top tier national/ international journals. The key areas of interest are the strategy, entrepreneurship, new ventures, family business, emerging markets,diversification and internationalization. The key pedagogies for teaching employed were lectures, case method, simulation seminar/ workshops , and role plays
